There is a certain bird you don't hear sing much, but in all my years hunting (30) every time I hear that bird song, I never see a deer. I just heard the 5 notes it sings. Dang it!!!

Not sure which bird that is that you are talking about, but I know a lot of times crows and some other birds go nuts when deer are moving under them. Have had them tip me off which way to watch for deer many times.
I'm sure I'm just being superstitious and I know it's not the bird's but I hate it when I hear that bird. Lol.

Be wary of those cardinals....I have had two close relatives that posted on Facebook about a cardinal visiting them in window or on porch for awhile....then within two days they are unexpectedly dead.

My dad told me a long time ago the best indicator of when a deer is coming is when everything gets quiet and the the little birds come in all at once. He said that when you better get ready. I couldn't tell you how many times this has worked for me. I also have lots of trail cam videos of little birds landing on bucks horns and their backs. I'll have to post some. But to the OP, I don't know a single thing about the bird you posted, you may be on to something. Nature is peculiar

I had a cardinal that was coming to a window at the house and pecking on the window when it would see its reflection. It was very annoying and would wake up the baby. The only death that came though was the cardinal when I introduced it to my .410
