Kinda bummed as I sit here on the couch watching Mountain Man on the first Thanksgiving morning that I have never not been sitting in a deer stand or rabbit hunting with family. It has always been a tradition in years past but my father no longer hunts, I have no kids and my nephews have prior engagements. I feel I work so hard to provide things that my family can enjoy together that is or was a passion to all but not quite sure if it's appreciated, the leases, equipment, vacation time used etc etc.
I have hunted alone more this year than I care to and I just didn't want to do it today.....
I guess such is life, blessed to be able to do what I do but it's getting harder to enjoy alone and making me question whether its worth it or not. Sorry for the soap box on this day we all should be thankful for, I do apologize.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my TnDeer family and friends!
Enjoy your day and good luck in the woods.
