Ended up going to the lake to test my new raptors with performance crappie brakes out.I actually haven't fished kylake since aug/September last yr.Withthe wind I figured I would just test everything out and probably come home.First bed I saw in 5ft of water was loaded with fish,caught 6 keepers off it.Had another bed that I caught 5 off of.Caught a couple suspended and a couple off the bottom not on structure.All together I probably fished 6beds and had 25 only kept my limit of 20 though.I learned one thing forsure crappie brakes are awsome,have only used them in other people's boat.You can run be running at a bed or spot a fish and hit the stomp switch and bam you are stopped,really awsome.
