Anyone with roots in West Tennesse knows that May is the month for Strawberry pie...

Mama hasn't been slacking this year and baby bro is in Spain traveling abroad. I'v been picking up the slack.

Also, this is the truest form of W. TN BBQ I know. Was served the first night of my bachelor part last summer.

Required:
Whole chickens
Sharp shears
16 cinderblocks
grate to match cinderblock square with chicken wire
lots of vinegar, cayenne pepper, and butter
time and a cooler of cold beer.

Getting a little hoity-toity aren't you? Next thing you know, you'll be wearing Filson clothes, whilst going on your estate shoot.

I'd have to invest in a over/under shotgun first :D

And Orvis clothes.

Orvis, fashion clothes for people that want to make other people think they hunt & fish.

Looks good. Probably gonna swing by farmers market tomorrow and pick up some strawberries and maybe some peaches (if their in). Next stop will be the butcher shop to see what they have. Also, need to stock up on a bottle or three or six of something.

Basil at home is going crazy. Making a batch of pesto tomorrow.
