Narrowed my search down to these two guns. Let me know if you have any experience with either and what you think about it.

I love my Taurus "slim" small enough to conceal in a pocket but still big enough to realize you have it on you and accurate at 20 yds

I have the Taurus. I got it because I like the trigger better, the LC9 is a very heavy, long pull.

The LC9 has better edges, as the corners and edges are all "melted" to make for more comfortable carrying, whereas my Taurus kinda digs into my hip if I wear it for much time in an Uncle Mike's IWB holster, but this will later be resolved with a better holster.

The sights on the Taurus are kinda cheesy plastic, and I don't know of any aftermarket sights, esp night sights.

The Ruger LC9's long trigger pull is like the LCP's, they are part of their safely. Being a "pocket" gun it's a good thing. Believe me I know. There have been times I did have it in my pocket and ever with the pocket holster my finger has come across the trigger, as soon as I felt that I stoped what I was doing.

You have to remember these guns are not range guns but defense guns.
