Was outside all day at a baseball game and then working around the house so didn't see it but kept checking the ESPN app. As mentioned above they gotta jump out to the early lead and not let Southern Miss do it. Hopefully they get hot tomorrow and take the series to earn a birth in the World Series.
They do, but they said they flipped Friday for first and third games, if necessary.
Loser of game one flip would be home game 2.
LSU punched their ticket by sweeping Kentucky.

Radar show storms just north of Hattiesburg, moving southeast at a pretty good clip. I would guess a couple of hours at the earliest. I wonder after the "30 min lightning strike deal", and they allow players on the field, will they let them warm up and go through their pregame prep?

It would work out for the Vols but advancing to the World Series based on that would suck and have an asterisk beside it. Just my $0.02.

Denton with a 3 run hr.

USM starter was around 90 pitches and had just hit Ahuna when Denton hit the hr. USM had 2 pitchers throwing in the bullpen for quite some time, including the Game 1 starter. You have to wonder why they didn't make the change after the hbp.

What an ending to the Texas / Stanford game. Don't think I've ever seen a team lose like that. I wanted to cry for those kids.
