So we decided to cook some Walleye at the camp last night for dinner. We were munching on a bag of Garden Salsa Sun Chips. The wife says "Hey, I bet these would taste good on the fish." So we mashed up a bunch and added them to the flour (about 50/50). Did an egg wash and flour/ chip dip, dropped them in the pan over the fire and WOW. That was some good eating. A little experimenting never hurts.

Looks delicious...former coworker uses cheese nip crackers on crappie fillets in the same way...crushes them up fine and adds them to his batter mix...I've always wanted to try the jalapeño cheese nip crackers in a batter mix...oh...nice cast iron.

Looks good! I fried crappie in sweet and spicy chili doritos once after seeing it in a video. There was a fine line between burnt and perfect. They were good though!
