That's cool, I don't know of any drains here that have water in em like that. Except when the creek swells up... might have to try it then.

I do remember back when I was 11 or 12, I dip netted some small bluegills in a ditch next to a grocery store several hundred yards upstream from where springs actually feed it. If you go down to where it becomes a creek, you will still see fish but I guess they aren't that far up the ditch unless it flooded recently. The creek dries up in places during the summer. there used to be a deep hole full of big creek chubs I would catch under a big root ball. Now it seems to dry up more often and there are no chubs there, but farther upstream there is a spring and a pool that holds fish year round. Never seen any catfish in there though. I'd like to find a sewer that actually has a decent fish in it.
