I found an ancient Chinese recipe for tenderizing meat....
So I tried it....
Took a 2 pound deer steak off the bone..
Cut it into strips....
Soaked it in water and 4 tablespoons of..."Baking Soda"
Sat in a container in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
Meat was more tender than a back strap and...
Wild taste was non-existant.
Little soy sauce and pepper with sauteed vegitables...MMMMMM
LIKE BUTTER!
