I went 30 min last week when the weather was pretty crappy( bout 40 mph wind on the river an around 40 degrees) but we still caught about 6 or 7. I haven't had a chance to go back again yet.

I went below Cheatam Wednesday. Caught 1. Guy beside me caught 1. All the boats were heading down river.

Still early on Old Hickory. Went yesterday and caught several of the smaller males and a bunch of yellow bass, but no bigger ones. Apparently I was fishing where the stocking truck drops the stripers in, because I bet we caught 70 or 80 stripers between 6 and 12 inches. They were everywhere. I even saw a blue heron catch one.

Went yesterday below Cheatam. Only caught about 6 down at Blooms Landing. Only 1 female all the others were smaller males. Caught a dang skipjack on just about every cast. Some were pushing 16 " so it was fun for a while. Gonna rig one up on a ballon next time.

Stripe are runnin' pretty dang good out 'round Clarksville fairgrounds... Been runnin' hard for two weeks...
