String Wax: How Often Yall Waxing Them Strings?

Ive always waxed when my string started to appear fuzzy or dry to the touch. Of course on Archery Talk you have the OCD types that wax after every session. How often do yall wax your strings? Ive always used Scorpion Venom polymeric wax in the tin can but I bought a tube of BCY X Wax and its pretty good stuff as well.

Dry or fuzzy.
Never had an issue. But, I do use a small piece of brown paper bag to rub the wax in. It heats it up nicely.

I use X wax on my sets and wax them on average every couple of weeks or sometimes weekly--my bow is right beside my workbench, so it's nothing for me to sit there in the morning while drinking my coffee in the mornings and watching the news to say, hey let's spend 2 minutes to wax those. If they get dry or fuzzy they've gone too long.

Just before fuzz starts showing. Put on some heavy wax with the fingers. Wife's blow dryer does the trick again and melts the wax into the string beautifully
