String stop question

Where should the string stop on my par bow be adjusted? Touching the string ? If not how far I've the string should it be ?

It should be adjusted to where it is just barely not touching the string�enough room to slid a credit card in between.

I heard a rep from bowtech say "close enough to slide a dollar bill between the stop and string"... dont forget to serve your string if you are putting a new one on!

I like a paper thin gap with my string stop.
