Nope, not a Wall St. thread........LOL
I was looking at some laminated stock manufacturers the other day and came across one that offered Bamboo.
I guess I never thought of Bamboo as a usable wood product in the shooting industry. I have in recent yrs replaced all my cooking utensils (wooden spoon, etc) with bamboo because it is safer and holds up much better.
I know it is a very strong and tight grained wood, but also very one dimensional when it comes to grain though. From what I saw on the site I was looking at, it come in two colors only (light & carmel)
They stated they are very light weight, yet strong as iron, with almost no effect from the elements.
Just thought I would throw the info. out here for something new to talk about, it's been a long winter........LOL
