I just shot my first deer of the year. Watched him go down at about 40 yards. I reloaded and still in stand in hopes a doe will wander by. He is not a huge rack but will eat just fine. I love this feeling. Will try to get pics up later. All praise and glory to God.

Congrats brother. Good luck getting you a doe. But you know what's going to happen if you stay in too long don't ya? Daddy will walk by and you won't be able to shoot him. Post pics soon.

Thanks everyone. Yes my heart did beat fast. No luck on the doe but I definitely can't complain. Weird looking rack. He was a big body deer. A whole lot of meat. Currently sitting on ice.

Many thanks again to Kimber for posting my picture for me.

I meant to tell everyone what I was shooting. TC Omega with 2 50 grain 777 pellets and a 300 grain Hornaday sabot is an absolute killing combo.
