Still lots of chasing

In Hickman county. Killed a small six that was just cruising yesterday afternoon. Had another buck chasing a doe in the thicket 30 min later. Seen several bucks out roaming around between 9 and 1 when I was going to town. Three more bucks after does on the way to work this morning.

Saw a good buck yesterday morning on the way to work right behind a doe.

Would love to see some rut action I have only seen a handful of scrapes and one rub. I haven't seen many deer in a month

This morning while at work I watched 4 young bucks cruising around and pestering a single doe in an acre sized field next to HWY 45 S. 100 yards north of them came a big 8 that was headed in their direction. Made me wish I had a rifle in my hand.

Have yet to see any chasing in southern Hickman co. Hopefully that's fixing to change.

I have yet to see any rutting behavior, watched a big 4 yr old cut a does track and he ignored it, watched him walk another couple hundred yards and work a scrape, then rub urinate, that's my rut so far

I saw lots of chasing the last week of muzzleloader and then it just died out

I made the round today around my woods and several fencerows where scrapes typically show up and didn't see one. Seems odd for this time of year. The rut here is not yet going as it is usually mid December but i've seen several bucks roaming with a purpose so far. One pretty good one - at least the best i could tell at 650 yards.
