I heard one begging for a glorious death yesterday evening

That picture will keep me going! Yesterday 4 gobblers gobbled and you could hear them go straight to each other. This morning before Church they did not make a sound but I had somehow gotten fairly close to them in the dark unbeknownst to me. I watched them fly down and go straight to each other and walk away. Either I have lost my touch or they could care less about the " hen " on the ridge. Lol, I know they are out there just like your picture but I am having the worst of luck finding them at this point,.I think it just depends on where your at and the situation. Thanks for sharing I am off 3 days this week and you provided motivation. I have gotten one and am after them to the bitter end. Either way I am just going to enjoy the rest of the season.

Had one gobbling his fool head off Friday morning in the Smokies. Got out at the Rainbow Falls trailhead and he was hammering. My wife asked me if I needed a minute.
