First off, soak in spring water for three days.

Then stew with vegetables until done; another way to prepare is to take garlic and oil mixed with good broth so that it is coarse, and pour it over the cat - then roast it on a spit until done.

I have heard that mt lion is quite good. Perhaps we have a use for all those stray cats. I wonder if it would work with coyote.

I was visiting some folks many years ago who were having fried bobcat tenderloin for supper. It was almost identical to pork. Not bad at all.

I remember a book I got many years ago from Outdoor Life. It was
call Game Animals of North America. It listed countless animals
and rated their table fare. I would say 98 percent on them were
considered very good to eat, eventhough I didn't consider a
brown rat a game animal.

I guess they could be good, if they were marinated the right
way (ha).
