Just wondering if anybody knows much about them I just bought my son the model 200 in .270 win. academy had it on sale for 179.99 and I couldn't pass it up , it seems to be a decent gun for the money , I will see how it shoots in a few days and let everybody know how it does.

Great rifles with lots of potential....You can shoot them as is and have a nice accurate rifle without being out a lot of money or you can go all out and buy a new stock, trigger and barrel and change the barrel out yourself with an action vice, barrel nut wrench and GO/NO-GO gauges. The factory trigger are a little heavy and aren't the best in the world but they can be adjusted down to 3.5-4 lbs. with a little work.

Bottom line, you can't go wrong at $179.

Very accurate and very affordable. My 243 shot this 5 shot group right out of the box. Handloads, but still good for a $285 rifle.

I've never heard anything negative about them, would complane a bit if someone was to buy me one.

I think mostly a trigger job is all it needs to be a top shelf shooter.
