State law vs city ordinance

I'm a resident of Oak Ridge Tn. I want to bow hunt property owned by the city. The areas are from 25 acres to over 100 acres each and I will not be hunting within 100 yards of any dwelling. I have spoken to a couple of OR police officers who actually hunt some of the same areas and even gave me some info regarding how State law supersedes city ordinance. So...can I bow hunt these areas?

Ask the mayor or city manager. There's some liability issues I see

You can't hunt any land in TN without permission of the landowner. You will need to get permission from the city to hunt their land.
