I love my TC omega with stainless barrel. But I know the finish on the barrel stands out like a sore thumb from the stand. I have been told this by friends.

What is the best fix? A quick job with flat rustoleum camo spray paint :o

Has anybody else took action this?

Yea it sticks out, but so does the blaze orange vest and hat you have to wear while hunting..I wouldn't worry about it, I doubt the deer will care either way....But if you're wanting to blow some money, then I'd go with Ceracoat.

McNett camo form tape. You can get the standard digital for cheap on EBay. The other patterns are quite a bit higher. It is not adhesive, and it only sticks to itself.

The good thing is that it is not permanent and doesn't affect the finish. This is one I wrapped. It took almost 2 rolls to do the gun and scope.

I have TC Omega with the stainless barrel and I shot a 7 pt saturday morning with it from 20 yds. I was standing next to a tree. The closet deer I killed with it was under 10 yds and I was sitting on the ground up against a tree at that time. I could have reached out and touched him with the barrel. I had some brush between me and the buck and I wanted to see how close he would get before I pulled the trigger.

If you think about it, a matte stainless barrel looks just like the silver bark on small trees / limbs. It probably looks more "natural" out in the woods than a blued barrel. Highly polished stainless (or any highly reflective shiny metal) would be another thing altogether.

Back in the day, we were dirt poor. We hunted literally to have more meat to go with the pork we slaughtered. We hit the woods in jeans, corduroy, blue work coveralls...what ever keep us warm. We still killed a bunch of deer. If it were me, I wouldn't worry about it...but of course I also think that you should do what you feel is best.
