I always used a straight 4x but considering a 2-7 class scope,,my eyes aint what they once were,and it drives me batty when I can hear one cutting and can`t find it..

I really like the 2-7...I've got one on my CVA muzzle loader and another on my Ruger Compact 260 REM. The 2 power is really good for those frequent close-up shots when the skwerls try to climb into your tree. 7 power is way plenty for the longest shots on skwerls.

I also like a 2-7...mine wears a 2-7X33mm Leupold VX-II. The parallax is set at the factory for 150 yardsso up close like say 25 yards to fifty yards the reticle seems to wobble a little bit, not enough to miss though!
