After having a scope slip I sent them down the road. And yes, they were mounted correctly.
The heaviest kicking gun I own is a Tikka 30.06 so nothing major but other guys say they've used them on all sorts of magnums with no trouble. I don't doubt you and I'm sure you know how to torque a screw down. I just don't see how they can slip unless you had oil on the scope or a torque wrench malfunction. How bad is the recoil on the gun?

It was on my smokeless muzzleloader. Recoil is pretty stout.

Never used them despite having a set..
They seem ok though just never used them.
Do still use Redfields n Or Leupold Standard.. Never have had an issue with them n had em on heavy hitters at Both ends.
