Squirrel hunting

Anyone ever try hunting from your boat? I have done this and am not sure if its legal very easy to kill them this way. Just pull up in a cove and wate a min. fish a little.

Hunting squirrels from a boat is legal if you are not underway from power of a motor and the squirrels are on land that you have permission to hunt.

season open, licensed hunter, etc. etc....

Just one thing to remember, about half of the squirrels will not float.

They will float if you ask them to put on a lifejacket first.

Seriously, I had this problem also. They would go under, and I'd be trying to fish them out with the fishing net. What a pain. Easier to make sure the tree is right beside the water.

Head shoot em and they will float shot a many of em from a boat. Especially when they are swimming the river migrating to a food source.
