I was feeling all "Tennessee" this morning and decided to make squirrel and dumplings.
First time.
Turned out excellent.
House smells like turkey.
I love this life.
The Missus really loves it down here.

Looks good! I would like to try to make some this week. Would you mind sharing your process for getting them ready to put in dumplings? Do you pressure cook them or boil to tenderize?

Didn't put in dumplings.
I like separating my food.
Yup, I'm a weirdo.
Here's the recipe I used:

I'm telling you, I swear it was turkey.
Instead of chicken broth I made 3 quarts using bullion cubes.

Looks great, love me some squirrel dumplings. My grandma and mom used to make squirrel hash with onion etc. and had a good dose of black pepper Was excellent over biscuits pair that with greenbeans and fried taters. Sadly they are both gone and I never got the recipe.
