Was at full draw on a dandy thismorning had to stand up to clear a limb stood up and squeak deer runs off. Would have easily been my biggest.. got too looking i think its the ratchet straps on the stand making the noise when i move. Any fixes???

I thought one of my hang on stands had a squeak but discovered it was simply because the strap wasn't quite tight enough. The back of the stand where it bites against the tree was rubbing against the red oak just a little bit when I'd step out all the way on one corner of the stand. So next time I'll take a ratchet strap in with me just in case.

I use bow wax on my ladder stands when I assemble the ladder sections, my aluminum NorthStarr stand is the worst.
