I was wondering if soaking wheat seeds in water a day before forecasting rain, then broadcasting into dead vegetation is a good idea? anyone tried this?

I've spread it into dead/bushhogged grass in front of a good rain with luck, but I've never soaked any seed before spreading. Seems like it would be hard to spread after you soaked it.

I've let it soak for a few days and then let it dry for a day so it can move through a spreader, I've only tried this on small one acre applications but it works like a charm and gives the seeds a nice jump start
