Obviously optimism reigns with excitement when a storm system or strong, cold wind comes from the north. But what about when, as often happens, you get a front from the Gulf?

I'm curious about 2 scenarios particularly:
1) when you have migrators pushed in the area already
2) when, so far as you know, you do not already have migrators in the area

Do you ever see a reverse-migration, either chasing away your ducks or bringing up ducks from the south? Or is it just a rainy day, either way?

Reverse migrations are great especially on a thaw with hungry birds floating back north. Also seen where they are the most pressured wary birds ever and will bug out at a gunshot a mile away.
