We had a great year around Gettysburg, SD this past week. Hunted six days and all four of us limited out each day.

This picture was a bonus day since we got two sharp tailed grouse along with 12 roosters.

We were hunting up near Clark, SD for three days a little over a week ago.

Great bird numbers but HOT hunting for that part of the world this time of year! Do you go up there annually?

This my second year to hunt in Potter county. My cousin bought a small place there and I have an open invitation to hunt with him.
The weather was perfect. Lows around 28. Highs mid fifties.

4 hunters x 3 a day=12 birds a day x 6 days=72 ringnecks. If you hunted entirely on your cousin's "small" place, exactly how big is small? lol
