I got myself a new 22-250 just for Yotes. Pics over on the guns page. Now, I need a call. I just blew my load on the gun and other stuff. What can I get THAT WORKS. Simple and effective is what I am looking for here. Suggestions?

I was thinking about selling my Fox Pro call with a wireless remote. It's an older one, but it works fine. If you are intereseted, let me know and I will get some pictures, more details, and a price. I'm sure that it will be less than $150, but I need to see what they are going for.

All I have are the primos hand calls & they do ok, but never had a custom or elctronic to compare it to so...

What I like about the open reed calls is the versatility, they do about any kind of coyote vocals (howls, barks, whines, distress) & can double as a distress call (coon, deer, rabbit, bird) to call predators with.

If ya want to go ultra cheap you can kiss the back of your hand to make mouse squeaks for free, I've even made a call from a rubber dog toy I bought 99cents, take the toy & cut about a 1 1/2 (or how ever big ya want) circle around the squeaker, when in use I turn it so the my teeth can bite the squeaker & hold it in place, this also leaves my hands free, or (for a little different sound) turn it around & make a circle with your finger & thumb & hold it in place or like your hold'n a cigarette to your mouth.

I also took a plastic cap from a soda bottle & put on of these toy squeakers in it, can be used as is or cut the bottom of the bottle off & screw the cap back on for a slight boost in volume.

This is just some junk I do when bored, a distress call is pie to make.
