Those are 7.62x39 if I remember correctly. That's a cool little rifle, if only they could talk.
AK mags or SKS?

Also, is it a bad idea to add a scope to these? I always see them without scopes.

There really isn't a truly reliable mounting system to scope an SKS. I have one that I removed the rear sight and used an aftermarket adapter to mount a red dot in its place.

The bad thing about that set up, it has to be removed to work the front takedown lever. And it required a BUNCH of fitting work. However, it seems like they also offered a longer rail for a scout scope at that time. But that's been probably 10 years ago. So, who knows?My paratrooper model has a side rail. BUT, a scope would be in the way of using stripper clips for loading. So I just use the irons on it.

Again @MoonBuzzard , I'm not trying to hijack. But, if having only one mag is a deterrent to a potential buyer, I'd be glad to make the buyer a good deal on three duckbill mags.

Well...in all fairness, a sks isn't exactly a precision rifle!!
The biggest problem is that you can only use a very short compact scope. The SKS ejects it's empty cases straight up from the receiver. If your scope extends over that portion of the receiver it will beat your scope to death, seriously. At one time they made a replacement dust cover type scope mounting system that had four set screws, one at Each corner. It stayed pretty solid.
