You should listen to your wifeThanks! The wife keeps telling me to "just keep it to hunt out of." It's tempting to keep it.

15-20 is what I'm finding online. Possibly 25. It'll plane out with just me with the 9.9. Any more motor and you'll probably benefit from ballast up front. Also, I believe max capacity is 600lbs.What is max hp rating?

he 1960s Alumacraft Model FD 14-foot aluminum boat is a classic, lightweight fishing boat (often ~130 lbs) known for its durability, featuring a flat-bottom hull, front deck, and popular use in restoration projects. These vintage boats, often found from the late 1950s/60s, are rated for small outboards (often 10–18 HP), feature longitudinal or cross-bench bracing, and are highly regarded for shallow-water, versatile fishingWhat is max hp rating?
Thanks! This is a 1974 alumacraft so I'm sure it's very similar. It's lasted this long because they're just built so strong. I have a 25 on mine. To much! 18 to 20 should be perfect.
