I am assuming if you were fixing to get like 6 inches of snow, it would be best to wait till it quits snowing THEN make your sets?

Personally,Id do it before the snow,it will be covered perfectly by God.

If you are doing a dirt hole set, I assume they can still smell it fine through the snow?

I would set before the snow. Then the morning after, go scout when you check your sets. Nothing better than snow to show off where they like to run. You can learn more in a couple days after a good snow than in an entire season of trapping with no snow. I hope we get a couple inches of snow Sat so I can figure out what they are doing this year. Second year the farm has been in soybeans so the fields are bare now and they don't seem to be using the place much.

Well it don't matter now.
Had to carry the wife to walmart after work so I couldn't set before the snow.
Going duck hunting in the morning.

AND my order came in and I ordered traps without rubber jaws somehow.
sheesh
