They have some of the Tikka T3X Lite stainless steel in several calibers for $649.99. That's less than the blued models normally. Had to get one in 7mm-08. Already had one in .308. Accurate and light weight rifles….

Truly, if I wasn't going on this trip I'd be tempted to pick up one of those in 308/7-08/270 etc for The Dude and put it back for a future birthday or Christmas present. I'll guarantee that will be one heck of a gun since I have the older model in 30-06… and it definitely shoots

Has anyone seen the shorter barreled threaded 5/8-24 for suppressor versions in the States? I believe it's called the "SubAlpine"? I saw them on their website last December but never in person. Would love to find a .308
^^^ I have not. I called Tikka year or so back and they told me they were not available in US at that time and they couldn't tell me when they might be available in the US, if ever. Dated info, but that's what I got 12-18 months ago.
Somehow I have missed this thread until now. May have cost me or saved me depending on how you look at it
Don't think you'll find one much cheaper. I thought it was an error until I actually saw it in my cart for that price….
