Thought this was very interesting.
Not sure if it was mixed in with one of the stockings they have done or if it is a KY Lake transplant or what.

Coleman Bingham caught the first smallmouth in Carroll County 1,000 Acre Recreational Lake. It was 17 3/4" long and weighed 2.11lbs it was caught on a wacky worm. It was tagged and released. Photo taken by Steve O.

smallmouth will do just fine in there. they are warm water fish like largemouth but prefer slightly cooler water but can survive and grow in 90 degree water if they have to.

I'm sure someone caught it somewhere else and brought it to the lake and threw it in. Just like how the few Florida strain bass we have got in there.
