1,000 acre lake help

Can anyone give me some tips? I don't want your spots, I've never fished it before and was thinking of going tomorrow.

I went bass fishing there last weekend and fished for 3 hours. Caught 2.
I was basically just beating the banks. I was doing lots of scanning looking for wads of crappie. Never found any.
I would concentrate on points facing the main body of water.

If its a bright sunny day go somewhere else

Seriously though that lake is already tough for quality bites, but I don't think I've ever fished somewhere that is so tough when the sun is out. Combo of that and the clear water I guess.
