Slugs

I traded for a rem 1187 . It came with two barrels . One is a smoothbore with rifle sights . What kinda groups could I expect out of it say at 50 and 100 yards ?

3 shots within 4" at 100y,if you buy enuf different shells you can do better, luck of the draw on how my $ it takes lol,

It is going to depend greatly on the barrel/ammo match up..........basically like any other gun. I have 4 different slug guns, 2 smooth bores/2 rifled. They all like different ammo, with that said.........I would try a basic Remington folster style rifled slug for smooth bores and the Brenneke Heavy field short magnum slugs(which can be shot from smooth bore or rifled barrels)
