Currently carrying either a Ruger LCP or Springfield mod2 9mm. I find the Springfield to be a bit bulky and a tad more weight than I really want to carry 12 hours a day. I love the shootability of the mod 2 and my xdm 5.25 so I am leaning towards the Hellcat. But the shop I go to has told me the trigger is garbage. Hate to sink 600 into a gun then start changing stuff. Anybody shot the hellcat?

Second gun of course is the p365. It's been a mixed bag of reviews. Liked the weight, but didn't like the slide function. I have yet to lay hands on a p365xl which is suppose to be much better. Anybody carrying the Sig and offer insight if it's worth switching from my current setup?

I have identical twin boys 22 years old. Both are good shooters and reload their own ammo.

One Son carries a Sig 320 and is very pleased. Shoots 140 gr A-Bonds in a 280 Venture into dimes.

Other Son just bought a Beretta 92FS which to me feels a LOT heavier but he loves it. Shoots 150 A-Bonds in a 308 Venture into quarters.

Just my opinion Ya got to go to a place like Shoot Point Blank and rent/shoot your choice for as long as you need.

Notes: The Beretta needs (looks like) around 500 rounds to thoroughly break it in. 200 so far and the progress is great. The Sig was ready day 1.

The Beretta DA trigger is not a big deal, very easy to get used to.

Beretta safety is a breeze.

My opinion the Beretta is much more accurate than the Sig with the same factory ammo. The Sig responds well to custom ammo. No change for Beretta.

The 320 is light, small, seems like a good carry gun. DO NOT handload it hot, stay on light side of middle of suggested ranges.

Best of luck

I have both Glock 43 and a 365. Had the glock first. Now I'm thinking I'll sell it. I never carry it. The 365 feels better. Holds more and is smaller. It's my go to carry gun now. Don't get me wrong. The Glock is nice. But the sig is nicer.

Are there any issues with the p365 that you've noticed? I know some of the first run models had issues, but Sig was doing the repair work to make things right.

I really wanted a good single action trigger in a compact gun to carry. The Texas church shooting made me really question my accuracy at 30ft on the fly, and I feel a good trigger was the biggest problem in what I had. I went with a sig p238. So far I've only shot a box through it, but for my preferences, it checks all the boxes.

I've not had any issues with my 365 thus far. It's by far my favorite Compact carry gun

Just bought a 365. I can tell it's probably cause me to put my 43 in the safe. I also love my FNX tactical 45. They are coming out with a 503 9mm micro to compete against the 365 and 43. If it's anything quality like the fnx it should be great too

Another LCP and 365 owner here. Had the 365 for right at a year, no complaints yet. Snagged a couple pics of them side by side just to compare. I did add Hogue slip on grips to both, as I've become a fan of those lately.
