Showing Off My Replica Catfish (Again)

I posted an earlier picture, but I just had to share another picture of my catfish replica (with me in it :grin . My wonderful wife has actually allowed me to place it front and center in the living room ... at least until company comes.

It was done by Joey Arender with Arender's Fish Taxidermy in Murfreesboro.

This mount doesn't really represent a specific catch. My personal best catfish is 60 lbs.... about twice as big as this one.

This replica represents a blue cat that would weigh between 30 and 35 lbs. I sometimes go to shows and simply wanted an impressive looking fish for display... but not one so large that I couldn't carry it around fairly easily.
