I posted an earlier picture, but I just had to share another picture of my catfish replica (with me in it :grin:) . My wonderful wife has actually allowed me to place it front and center in the living room ... at least until company comes. :)

It was done by Joey Arender with Arender's Fish Taxidermy in Murfreesboro.

This mount doesn't really represent a specific catch. My personal best catfish is 60 lbs.... about twice as big as this one.

This replica represents a blue cat that would weigh between 30 and 35 lbs. I sometimes go to shows and simply wanted an impressive looking fish for display... but not one so large that I couldn't carry it around fairly easily.
