you can get spring kits to lighten up the trigger pull.

As was posted once a long while back....

I bought a Remington factory competition spring off their website for my 870. They come in the trap/skeet shotguns. The factory heavy spring ranges up to 6lbs of pull. The comp spring is 3lbs. It cost me around $4.50 +shipping.

All I need to do now is install it.......
