who was it that said only accurate rifles are interesting,,Daddys sister and her husband were down from Pittsburg for the w/e and he had never shot any at 500 yards much less at 1,000,so me and Daddy and my older brother and another friend of mine broke out the heavy rifles and put on a pretty good show for our yankee relatives.

I am gonna try and list the stuff we used today,,we had steel at 600,900,1025,and 1075

had two 338 Lapua rifles,two 223 rifles,one 260 rifle,one 308 rifle,one 6.5 Creedmore rifle,one 6.5-284 rifle,one 22.250 rifle,

three 5.5-22 Nightforce scopes,one Acog,two 4.5-14 Leupold LR/M1 scopes,one Leupold 36XBR,one 16X Leupold Mark 4,one 8-32 Nightforce scope

had three 12-40 Lepold Gold ring spotters and one 12-40 Mark 4 spotter with mildot reticle,

we shot a right smart very expensive ammo but from what I saw at the 1075 target if we was dug in pretty good it would be very difficult to overrun our position,,

forgot my camera but man it was an awesome sight to see just a small fraction of the stuff our family has accumulated over the years and my two younger brothers werent even there,,

I think we blowed our yank relative`s mind,,we were wearing the 1075 plate out with the 338s 308 and 6.5-284,,

you need to come shoot the 338 man,,squeezing off the shot,,getting back on the scope and spotting your own shots then about 4 seconds latter you hear the gong,,it is a blast

I believe it was Warren Page, but he may have been quoting someone else. I've seen the quote attributed to Col. Townsend Wheelen.

Woody Guthrie said "Plagiarism is basic to all culture."
