Forked Deer River Bottom
First Saturday I've had off this year when it wasn't too cold out. Son-in-law was going to come shoot with me, but the storms put a halt to that. So I went out to the shop to piddle around. I decided I wanted more options to shoot suppressed. After moving a mountain of junk off my old lathe and workbench, I was finally able to shorten and thread a couple of barrels.
First was an old Mossberg 151K. It's just a beater that I picked up cheap with a busted stock and a couple parts missing. I repaired the stock and dug through my parts stash to get it back complete.
Second is my Savage MkII truck gun.
Hopefully I can take them down to the farm and get them zeroed tomorrow after church.

A silencer for my 22's is really the only thing I would like to have 1 for. On a high power you need to shoot reduced loads to keep them reasonable, I don't have any that are threaded so that's another cost, oh well if I ever hit it 😝 , like to hear if it affects your accuracy, that's not something I see posted much about them. Did you have to put a adapter on because of a thin barrel or were they thick enuf ?

I'm not sure about suppressors, but a muzzle brake will certainly affect the tune of a barrel. I shoot my 300 WinMag without a brake, and when I've tried one the poi changed about 6" high and 4" right, just at 100 yards. The accuracy wasn't as close either from shooting bare gun either for mine.

While a suppressor will sometimes cause a POI shift, especially on thinner barrels, I've not noticed much affect to accuracy. Granted, I mostly used them on my hunting and plinking guns, not target rifles. My 300 AAC Blackout Savage 11 will actually shoot slightly tighter groups with the suppressor vs without.
