Will be hunting rifle season out of a tree stand. Am looking to buy a monopod/shooting sticks to rest the barrel of my rather older/heavy rifle. Any suggestions to brands? Also any other ideas other than shooting sticks to use while in the deer stand. My stand has a shooting bar that sits right in front, but pretty low. I need something taller, and off to the sides as well.
Thanks

Best twelve bucks I ever spent on hunting gear.

It rests on the top of your boot, connected by a strap.

Has a trigger that you squeeze to slide the rest up and down. I can't really describe it, but by leaning the rest this way or that, and adjusting up or down, you can create a rock solid rest in nearly any direction, up the ridge or down below. It only takes a little practice until it feels completely natural.

I don't recommend many hunting products, but this stick has improved my treestand shooting confidence 100%.

The Primos trigger sticks are way too heavy. I bought the Stoney Point Hike 'N Hunt Combo and it is without a doubt one of the BEST items I've ever purchased for hunting. You can use it with a single pole - or double. Or use them for walking sticks while hiking.
