I ended up taking the "wings" off the front site and unscrewed the fiber optic. Thought it would still be in my way so used a dremel to cut it off and then ground it down some more. Once I had it low enough for my liking I hit it with some matte black paint and called it good. Now to get my shells and get it patterned and sighted in.

Get the 3 the other is way to big
It is a Burris FF3 with the 3 MOA dot and I do like it. The 8 is too big for my liking.
Thanks gentlemen. That's what I leaning towards. My only concern was with it being mounted further forward on the gun, it would make the dot appear smaller. Having two expert opinions solidifies my choice.
