Does anyone know of a food plot mix that grows well in the shade? I hunt under pine trees, that's tall enought that most of briars are choked out. And i was wondering if a food plot would grow there?

Rye grass will grow anywhere with minimal work. Just need soil contact. Some places deer don't touch it. Here they eat the heck out of it. Not much nutritional value I think but if you're just trying to attract them then it can serve the purpose.
