Took long enough but finally just saw a bobcat while hunting. Got it on video about 15 yd from the tree. Was going to try and draw back on it but then remembered I don't think season is open yet. But it saw me anyway, and made like a spooked cat, is the best way to describe it. Lol

Neat. I had one creeping up on a turkey deke at Cheatham a few years back. It either winded me or I blinked b/c it tore out like it was on fire.

They definitely don't take chances. All it takes is a click of the safety and they run like their hind end is on fire!

Watched one creep up by me when I was hunting hogs a couple years back. I watched as it sneeked and crept up until it got in my windstream..then it turned into a dang snake and slithered, in a wide open fashion, about 1/4 in off the ground, back the way it came! :D

they are pretty, we call quite a few. season runs mid nov till mid feb, so glad u didn't shoot it- their fur isn't prime till december anyway

I had one this past Saturday morning at 40 yds. It was a small one, up on a log. He was stretching and clawing. He only stayed about 30 seconds and disappeared.

I'm pretty sure our bobcat season opens on November 22 this year.

correct. not much of a sense of smell. easy to trap, scent doesn't matter.

They are cool. I have easily seen over 30 bobcats in my years of hunting and killed a bunch, all in middle Tennessee. Cool animal for sure.

Had one come up and sit by my stand yesterday morning, it was hunting too.

Considering your short hunting career your statement of "Took long enough" really doesn't fly, people hunt all over the state for many years and have never seen one

Pretty neat! I called two into my lap during turkey season, really began to worry on one he got so close.

I saw one two years ago walk right under my stand. One is on my bucket list of kills I want.

They are so cool to watch in the wild.

I've seen several while fishing.

I've seen two while hunting. One killed a squirrel about 15 yards from my stand and the other killed a jake while I was turkey hunting.

In all my years of hunting, I've only seen two from the stand. Get trail-cam pictures of them all the time though.

I see them a couple times a year at my place. When it snows, their tracks are on every log

We saw 5 last year on my small tract of ground, already seen two this year. I need to get trapping, they are turkey eating machines!

I would hope that they would eat all the turkeys.
