due to time constrictions, i had to plant last weekend. Of course no rain on my farm since then. I know there are small chances all next week. How long will the seed be alright without rainfall? We planted wheat, oats, der and had a good seedbed with good moisture in the soil from previous rains! Thanks!

The first thing I will tell you is don't worry yourself over it. A lot of us have to plant when we can. I really see no need to be concerned about it. The seed should be ok in the ground as in a bag.
The only thing is if your property is like mine.. you have turkeys and they can wear out your oats and wheat. I think tropical storm "Fay" will give us rain next week "I hope".

I would be more worried about it raining and the seed germinating then no more rain for several weeks and it drying up.
