Anybody have any luck?
Which blind did yall draw?I managed to get one on Reelfoot BUT man, I have found out that the future of duck hunting is not so bright. There are some absolutely horrible 20 some year olds that are disgraceful. Simply ask for some info on the blind and got tore down and they even threatened to burn my stuff! Absolutely blew my mind. All because I dont live in W TN. I have met the opposite too so I am not putting all youngins in the same class by no means.

There are some days ducks work decent there, not that they get to finish. Most swings get shot at like any other duck on reelfoot. Every blind hoping to get a few more to add to their number. Nevermind the fact they have to jump in the boat and run a 100 yards out to chase what they knocked down.
2 is a banger for sure!!#2 and half of #45

We had 62, just south of there a couple of years ago, and had a 450-500 duck season. You will listen to the private blinds between there and the refuge do a lot of shooting. If you have a camper, you can stay at the Air Park, or one of the camper spots at Gray's Camp. If you don't have one, Gray's Camp isn't a bad spot to stay. The rooms at the new part are pretty nice, the cabins are older, and dated, but was still ok to stay at. I wouldn't try to impress a lady with one of the cabins though, lol. El Potrillo mexican restaurant in Tiptonville is decent to eat at, try the Cancun Salad. Or run up to Hickman, Ky and eat at Hub's. And of course, you have the option of driving around the lake to Boyette's or Blue Bank. We shot mostly bluebills, ring necks, and gadwalls with the odd pintail and canvas back. Mallards were late showing up, so we didn't kill a bunch of them, but we did get a few. It was hard to tell how much shooting 18 got in with all the shooting from the private blinds up between it and the refuge.
