Scrapes Drying Up?

For those that run cameras and may be thinking of pulling them because the rut is underway and/or they appear to have gone dead... Just because the bare ground is covered with leaves and the scrapes appear to have gone cold doesn't mean the bucks still aren't checking those scrapes. 90% of the pictures I get the bucks don't even appear interested in raking the ground clean. They're strictly checking, licking, and scenting the overhanging branches and then possibly peeing in the scrape. You probably won't get the pics you were before they "went cold" but they're still using them... just not as obvious.
