First let me apologize for asking this but I want the definite answer and can't google it at work.
If a person is hunting land they leased from a relative, are they allowed to carry a pistol during bow or mz WITHOUT a permit? My instinct says no because they don't qualify as a landowner. They say yes because it is private property and they lease. Help! Btw- he is one of those one-uppers. ;)
If I'm wrong, no harm but if I'm right, he needs to be informed.
Thanks!

Along the lines of this, how will the new open carry law affect times such as this?

Nothing has passed at this point. If it does pass, there will be some current statutes in conflict. We will have to get some legal input at that point.
